FastWay’s Electrifying Journey with Sitetracker

Established in 2022, FastWay has quickly become one of Italy’s fastest-growing high-power Charge Point Operators, driving the future of electric mobility with reliable, high-tech charging solutions.

Founded in 2022, FastWay has quickly established itself as one of Italy’s leading Charge Point Operators (CPOs) in the high-power charging segment (fast and ultra-fast). Backed by the Infrastructure Growth Fund – ESG (IPC), FastWay partners with municipalities, landlords, and private stakeholders to advance the mobility of the future. With a lean but highly skilled team, FastWay is dedicated to delivering reliable, professional, and technologically advanced EV charging services.

Scaling EV Infrastructure with Sitetracker

FastWay embedded Sitetracker from day one to power its business development and engineering processes. The platform supports everything from signing agreements with municipalities to design, permitting, construction, and operations.

By centralizing all data on a single platform, FastWay has created a single source of truth. Project teams leverage Sitetracker’s interconnected data and history tracking to ensure visibility, accountability, and efficiency across every stage of the asset lifecycle.

Sitetracker gives us full visibility across all our processes, something I’ve never seen implemented so effectively before. With just eight engineers, we’re managing more than a thousand projects efficiently, thanks to the platform’s intuitive tools and real-time reporting.

Driving Efficiency with a Lean Team

Even with a core team of just 8 engineers, FastWay has approximately 1,000 sites and projects in design and construction using Sitetracker. Built-in reporting eliminates the need for external spreadsheets, providing real-time insights while maintaining consistency and transparency across all projects.

Project managers particularly value Tracker, Sitetracker’s intuitive project monitoring feature, which allows them to keep all data in-platform without relying on exports. This has simplified day-to-day workflows and empowered the team to make informed, data-driven decisions faster.

Looking Ahead

FastWay’s immediate goal is to accelerate contract signings and station activations while continuing to refine its Sitetracker configuration to simplify and streamline operations.

At the end of 2024, FastWay secured the largest share of charging station deployments under Wave 3 of the PNRR initiative—a milestone that underscores its leadership in Italy’s EV transition.

With Sitetracker as its foundation, FastWay is well-positioned to expand its footprint and deliver the charging infrastructure needed for a sustainable mobility future.
