Sitetracker joins the Rural Wireless Association (RWA) to support ubiquitous connectivity in rural areas

We’re excited to announce that Sitetracker has joined the Rural Wireless Association (RWA) to better serve our telecommunications customers who build and provide wireless infrastructure in rural areas.

RWA is a trade association representing smaller rural wireless carriers who each serve fewer than 100,000 subscribers. The association is based in Washington, DC and meets regularly with the FCC and Congressional decision makers.  RWA’s creative, relentless advocacy successfully strengthens policies and regulations that affect smaller rural wireless companies.

The Sitetracker team is thrilled to be a part of a strong community of like-minded leaders in the rural wireless industry who have accomplished so much in 2018 alone, including:

  • Working with the FCC to extend Mobility Fund Phase II buffer radius
  • Enforcing 700 MHz buildout requirements
  • Working to establish fair bi-lateral roaming practices

We’ve also joined the RWA’s Education Committee, strengthening our commitment to standardization across the wireless industry. Sitetracker leaders sit alongside innovative legal and regulatory experts devoted to strengthening policies that affect rural wireless companies and millions of Americans. We value the relationships strengthened through committee participation and events. Will will collaborate with RWA to provide education through webinars and member teleconferences to inform, instruct, and exchange vital wireless industry knowledge.

Sitetracker is dedicated to advancing operational excellence and standardization across every sector within the wireless industry.
